I came to Lisa for a Reiki session after I had been suffering from an inflammatory ailment, of mysterious origins, for six weeks. Because of it, I was suffering from serious sleep-deprivation. Before beginning, Lisa explained that one of the ways Reiki works is by re-balancing the various parts of our body-mind-spirit with one another.
My experience of the session was a feeling of deep peace and of surrender to the healing in Lisa’s touch. There was a sensation of delicious heat emanating from her hands. When she placed her two hands on different parts of my body that needed to come back into balance with each other–like my head and my heart, or my heart and the inflamed organ–the experience was one of reconciliation and peacemaking. She even sensed the beginning of an inflammation in my eye prior to the onset of any symptoms. At the end, I felt blissful.
The Reiki session, combined with Lisa’s intuitive counseling following the session, made the underlying spiritual/emotional causes of the physical ailment very clear to me.
